Becoming a High School student can be a daunting experience, whether you are new to Carmel or whether you are graduating from our Primary School and coming 'across the oval' to become a Carmel High School student. We have a range of programs available for students and families who are looking at High School options.

Tours

Even if you are familiar with Carmel Primary School, it is a good idea to tour the High School before you start Year Seven. Tours with our Marketing Team are available at any time and can be booked using the tour booking form. Tours and meetings are also available with our Head of Secondary, Mrs Melanie Thorpe. These can be booked by emailing shalom@carmel.wa.edu.au. Current available dates are 3.30pm - 4.30pm on November 7 and December 5. If you would like to meet with Mrs Thorpe at a different time, please email us to arrange.

Meet our High School Leadership Team - Tuesday 5 June, 6-8pm

This information evening for parents provides the opportunity to meet key High School staff, including our Principal, our Head of Secondary, our Director of Jewish Studies and our Heads of Learning Areas. The session will run from 6 - 8pm and give all guests a taste of the Carmel High School learning environment. Parents of students currently in Years 4 - 6 are encouraged to attend. This event is open to both current and prospective Carmel families. Registration is essential and can be sent via email.

Be a 'High Schooler' for a Day

During Term Four we will run 'try out days' for students in Year Four and Five. These events will be specifically designed to respond to the questions and interests of the different age groups and their families. For more information, or to register, send us an email.
