On August 14 the year 5’s visited Fremantle prison. They were taken around the prison by the tour guides. They learned a lot about the life in prison for the early convicts. They even got to feel what it was like to be locked away – for a few seconds. After the tour we walked to the promenade to have lunch and a play in the park. The Kindy students came to work in the High School Art Room to make ceramic honey pots for Rosh Hashana. They followed Morah Leanne’s instructions to roll and join coils of clay to build up their pots, finishing with a lid and handle.
