On Tuesday approximately 20 ECU students visited the Ashley Schaffer Early Learning Centre to view the various classroom environments and explore how they impact the learners. They were very impressed by the opportunities for critical and creative thinking, collaboration and communication amongst our youngest students. Morah Dionne spoke to the students to share how her engaging classroom environment is filled with intentional teaching and learning and authentic skill building opportunities. We are so proud to share our Early Learning Centre with these students and to demonstrate that the research and theories of best practice can be executed to such a high level.
