In Term 3 selected Carmel Upper Primary school students participated in the 2017 Australian Mathematics Competition. It is one of the world’s great competitions with thousands of entrants from around Australia. The competition gives the students who have a passion for Mathematics an opportunity to showcase their amazing skills. We congratulate all our Primary participants. On Monday Mrs Fisher presented awards to the following students in recognition of their outstanding performance in this competition.

Taya Van Den Berg - high distinction (performing in the top 3% of all Year 5 students in Australia)

Yair Breuer – distinction (performing the top 7% of Year 6 students in Australia)

Reuben Finn – distinction (performing in the top 18% of all Year 6 students in Australia)
