Congratulations to Ashleigh Cohen and Mia Parry for winning a place at the ANSTO Big Ideas Forum.

The ANSTO Big Ideas Forum brings 11 pairs of students and their teachers from across Australia to Sydney for four days of hands-on science and technology. It is a unique opportunity to meet leading Australian researchers and discover first-hand some diverse uses of cutting-edge Australian science: from improving human health, protecting the environment, creating new technologies, and much more.

The girls won their place by making a video of a Science Big idea that they thought needed to be solved. The video can be viewed by clicking here.

The program looks fantastic and the girls and Mr Edmunds fly out this Sunday and return Thursday night. They will be doing some great activities while Mr Edmunds will be involved in a PD program as well. One night will involve a dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour.

Well done girls!
