In March earlier this year, all of our Year 10 students participated in the Australian Brain Bee Challenge (ABBC). The ABBC is a competition for high school students in Year 10 to learn about the brain and its functions. They learn about neuroscience research and find out about careers in neuroscience. Another aim is to dispel misconceptions about neurological mental illnesses. Four of our Year 10s have succeeded in making it to the State Finals to be held in June at the University of Western Australia. They are:

Jacob Range

Noam Goldberg

Maia Hilu

Donna Levin

They will participate in team and individual events on the day to determine the WA champion who will compete later in the year in the Australian-New Zealand Final in Brisbane in December. Well done to our fantastic four! Mrs Paioff
