In a year when we are unable to travel to Israel, Tali brought Israel to Perth for her Bat mitzvah, with dancing and ruach near the ‘Kotel’ before candle-lighting for Shabbat. Tali’s Dvar Torah focused on connections and freedom, two topics close to her heart given her strong connection to friends and family. She said the best part of her celebration was seeing her cousins from Melbourne! 

 Tali already knows that she wants to be a VET when she grows up and has successfully convinced her parents to grow their already large menagerie. Her week is full of dancing, netball and of course school work. Tali is enjoying HASS with Mr Raston and says that she is lucky to have a ‘family at home, and another Carmel family at school’.
