Mazal Tov Rachel!

For a young girl whose Bat Mitzvah plans were COVIDed a few short hours before it was all set to begin, Rachel showed maturity beyond her years. Her positive attitude of accepting what one cannot change and being grateful for the well wishes and the safety and health of the community was refreshing and inspirational!
Rachel delivered her Dvar Torah via Zoom, emphasising the need to always try to reflect and improve our actions.
An avid reader, Rachel loves murder mysteries and always has a book on the go. Her favourite Chag is Sukkot as, despite getting bitten by mozzies, she loves waking up in the Sukkah to the cool fresh air. The youngest of five sisters, Rachel did admit that her older siblings have collected wisdom that she should listen to and she is appreciative that they are all now able to drive her places when needed.
Rachel is enjoying Maths and HASS in High School. She says she hopes she’s inherited her parents’ traits of being responsible but also fun-loving - traits which will set her up for a successful High School future.
Rachel, your mature, positive attitude is going to get you everywhere. We are so proud - Mazal Tov!
